In September 2024, the CEO, President, and Director of AiFei Chinese School (AiFei), Dr. Efe Yahaya-Shuaibu, was proudly conferred with the “China–Nigeria Friendship Youth Contribution Award” by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Lagos.
The prestigious award was presented in recognition of Dr. Yahaya-Shuaibu’s outstanding contributions to strengthening China–Nigeria relations, particularly through education, cultural exchange, and youth engagement.
The ceremony, held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, brought together diplomats, educators, and community leaders to celebrate individuals who have played significant roles in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between both nations.
This honour reflects AiFei’s growing impact in fostering cross-cultural education and friendship, further inspiring its mission to serve as a bridge between Chinese and Nigerian communities through language and culture.
